The Sims 3 is the third title of The Sims franchise, released in the United States on June 2, 2009, June 5 in Europe and Brazil. The Sims 3 game sold 1 million copies in its first week in stores. The Sims 3 was produced by The Sims Studio on Windows and by Visceral Games on Mac OS X.
